I just entered the second half of my life by moving 2,200 miles back to the west.

My wonderful son Aaron lives in Phoenix and I love how close I am to all my friends on the West Coast here.
I'm an avid learner. I love local magazines to get the taste of the town, and I love learning from people. I'm a huge supporter of the free press and worked at the Bay Guardian Newsweekly in San Francisco for many years. That's where my kids were born, then I moved them back to the good old Midwest (Downers Grove, Illinois) where they both were Track and Cross Country atheletes.

I'm a poet, a singer, and a songwriter, just like my son Ben. Ben became my angel five years ago at 22, and we've raised $100k so far through BensMemorialMile.com for suicide prevention and to find a cure for schizophrenia (he had late onset). I'm the author of Our Forever Ben. My son Ben and I wrote it together after he became my angel.

I'm on a new adventure. I love people. I love hearing stories, and I love making people feel happier through my own special brand of somatic energy work I've honed over the years. I am Clinically Certified in Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT Tapping), along with credentials in Matrix Reimprinting. I'm young, I'm healthy. THe world is my oyster. Walt Whitman is endlessly fascinating. I read all kinds of books on Energy Psychology, like One Mind by Dr. Larry Dossey (I saw him speak at the Association of Energy Psychology Conference in 2019! I trained at the EFT Tapping Training Institute and also belong to EFTInternational.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Before the iron curtain lifted I traveled in Romania, Russia, and Poland as a guest of the state singing in a choir of all races with people from 6 to 75 in age!
