About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet people who make me ask questions.

ABOUT ME

The first thing people usually notice about me is that I'm almost always giggling about something. I'm just a light hearted redhead with a smile always on my face. There is too much good in life to be down for too long. I love to talk, crack jokes, dance crazy, play board games, and just hang out.
I've traveled through Europe a bit and been to Mexico for a bit as well, but I realized I had never really seen my of my home country. So now I am trying to visit a new edge of the country at least once each year. I spent Mardi Gras in New Orleans for 2013 and had a blast at the jazz clubs and learning about the unique culture there. I hope to visit New York and California next. While I like visiting the big, touristy places, I much prefer to get in with the locals to get the real feel of the places I visit.

PHILOSOPHY

I will try almost anything at least once. I hate the taboos that are placed on too many things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to participate in any way. I'm looking to have my first experience surfing in New York City in December, and though I am currently a student and living in a shared house with a bunch of guys in Atlanta, I do have a cozy papazan chair and a floor and private bathroom here if anyone is interested over weekends. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I've never actually used Couchsurfing before, I'm not a big stranger of relying on the kindness of others. In my teens, I primarily jumped from one friend's couch to another for years until I got into college and had my own place.
In 2011, I traveled through Europe a bit. In Ireland, I got horribly lost and my card was locked, but I was amazingly lucky to meet some of the nicest people. 2 different people allowed me to sleep on their couches in return for simple company and light talk about life.
In my second visit to Paris which was much more spontaneous than the first, a gentleman allowed me to stay in his apartment for a weekend as the hostels in the city were primarily booked. He showed me new parts of the city I hadn't seen the first time around, and I made a simple, but yummy dinner for him in return.

Interests

I love meeting people. I'm a very talkative person. I do a lot of dancing and joking around. If I'm not out with friends dancing or trying new foods, I'm probably curled up on the couch chatting, playing board games, and/or watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musicals, thrillers, and steamy romances. My friends hate my movie tastes lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Florence, my friend and I went to the top of Michelangelo's Plaza and watched the sunset over the city. While it sounds cliche, it was absolutely breathtaking.
