I love getting to know new people and exploring new places. I believe every day is a new adventure and that life's too short to worry about tomorrow! I plan to hopefully one day be able to travel the world and see all the amazing beauty it has to offer!

I've always felt like somewhat of a kid at heart. When people grow up, they tend to lose their sense of wonder and excitement they once had when they were young.

I can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but I open up quite quickly. I'd like to think I'm a pretty creative person. I love art, music, and writing. I also love being outdoors and discovering new places on spontaneous adventures! I love going to breweries, coffee shops, the beach, and long hikes

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am quitting my job at the end of June and am going to spend a year traveling! I have had great experiences with couch surfing before and love getting to meet new people and learn their stories! I always think it is better to stay with locals because they know all the best spots in the city! I am a big people person and I love getting to know people as I am very sociable. It would be great to spend a day exploring the city with my host if they are free! I love to learn new cultures and feel their is no better way to experience new cultures than by staying with local hosts!

Writing and Reading: I love to write about anything, I plan to write a book about my travels! I love reading about travel and my favorite authors are Jack London, John Krakauer, and Bill Bryson.

Photography: I love capturing the beauty of a moment in a photograph and looking back on those memorable experiences

Traveling: I feel that their is nothing more exciting than having new adventures and creating memories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After college I spent an entire year working and traveling around New Zealand. It was the best year of my life! I climbed mountains, bungee jumped, went sky diving, white water rafting and so much more! I met so many amazing people and saw so many incredible landscapes! I worked in a little pub in the middle of nowhere for 6 months and spent my free time exploring the island

Teach: I have worked in education for over 7 years. Currently I am a High School Counselor, but I am taking a break from that travel for a year. I have a lot of experience working with kids that have special needs. I could help with tutoring or English language practice.

Learn: I would love to learn a new language. I am just starting to learn Spanish. I am open and excited to learn about any cultures, customs, and beliefs.

Share: I would love to share time with a host and explore the city one day if they are free
