I'm an university student from Florida, currently studying in Istanbul. I look forward to each and every adventure that my experience abroad brings me. I'm studying international affairs and political science, and I would like to eventually end up working in the human rights field :)

I haven't had very many so far, but everyone that I've encountered so far has been wonderful and really helped make traveling around the world a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Almost anything, but I am currently enjoying the On the Road

Music: Again, I love anything...I really enjoy listening to local favorites of the places I travel!

Movies: I enjoy a lot of foreign films, but I also really enjoy almost any funny movie. I wish that I had more time to watch them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things that I have experienced have always been unexpected and surprising. One of the most amazing experiences that I have had was when I hiked up an unexpectedly long trail on Buyükada, the largest of the Prince's Islands outside Istanbul, and coming to the very top of the steep hill to find the most beautiful view I've ever seen. I was surrounded by a peaceful monastery, trees, and a seemingly endless blue sea.

I love Coachsurfing and the connections that is helping to establish across the globe; I believe that the most important thing to remember while hosting or surfing is to keep your mind and heart open to what people have to offer to you.
