About Me

I am a 27 year old gal’ looking to meet new people. I work in disability support and am interested in engaging with people from all walks of life! I am currently about to embark on some travels around Europe and am hoping to meet some cool people who can help me gain an authentic experience of the places they dwell in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is amazing to be part of a worldwide community that takes care of one another! I am excited to meet new people and get an authentic experience of what it’s like to live a day in their shoes. I’d also love to share a little slice of my life in the inner west of Sydney - a place teeming with creativity and community!

Interests

Sociology, psychology, philosophy, literature, music, art, comedy, travel… anything and everything! I’m a bit of a chatterbox!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to geek out over music. My go-to’s are post punk, prog rock, psychedelic rock, blues n’ jazz . That being said, I have been known to listen to a bit of boom bap, drum n’ bass & techno when I’m in the mood. Anything goes, really.

I am an avid reader. Here are a few of my favourites:
‘Monkey Grip’ - Helen Garner (slice of life, Melbourne in the 80s)
‘A Clockwork Orange’ Anthony Burgess (the rhythmic cadence of this classic is unparalleled)
‘He died with a falafel in his hand’ - John Birmingham (follows the whacky and debaucherous lives of a Brisbane share house in the 80s)

Teach, Learn, Share

I play guitar at an intermediate level and am always up for a jam. Generally when it comes to anything creative I’m always up to collaborate and encourage!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun lighthearted chats about travel, music and reading!
