About Me

Brazilian journalist who’s lived in Germany for a while and traveled quite a bit.
Also, it’s weird to write in the third person.
I’m fascinated by getting to know different people and cultures, love to write, always opened for a good adventure, talk, party or book!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and I think this is a tool that takes you beyond the obvious: you get to know people, learn about their culture and discover different places.
The trip goes way beyond the place you go to.

Interests

I'm a writer who also enjoys making short movies and documentaries about traveling and people in general. (Not a professional at all)
I'm fascinated by art in general, but specially street art.
I love exploring cities and nature in any possible way and love it even more when there’s good company envolved.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Novos Baianos, The Beatles and RHCP, but I love getting to know new music.
I can sort of play the guitar and the flute too, but I don’t think you’ll wanna hear that.
Movies: The Silence of the Lambs, Good bye Lenin.
Books: Jon Krakauer, Hilda Hilst, Fernando Pessoa and Truman Capote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Germany all by myself when I was 17 to finish high school and learn everything from scratch.
Also traveling alone to Sweden when I was 14.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to photograph people, can teach Portuguese, English or even how to cook some Brazilian food. I'm learning German and Spanish and I'm always in the mood to learn something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share Brazilian culture, good stories and advices, my knowledge in Portuguese and English language, a little bit of Brazilian culinary, good music and books… well, I don’t know, whatever I can do to help, I will.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
