I spent 2015 in Southeast Asia getting acquainted with my parents' homeland, a journey that took me all the way back to an Indonesian refugee camp.

Along the way, I discovered the Harpswell Foundation, a nonprofit in Phnom Penh working to empower the next generation of women leaders in Cambodia. That's where I am today, living and working with 80 of the brightest young women in the country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to swim while in the salty seas of the Adriatic Coast last summer in Croatia! It was a huge personal win after years of trying and sinking.
