I would love to see people acting as one human family, realizing our interconnectedness and dependence on one another. Hopefully couchsurfing can contribute to that goal. And expanding a sense of the world's generosity as well.

ABOUT ME

My interests include learning about other cultures and religions , (mainly Buddhism), travel, hospice work, massage therapy (bodywork in general), hiking, biking and enjoying nature, healing arts, emotional expression.

PHILOSOPHY

Just trying to find out what this being human is all about. Why are we here? How best to make the most out of this precious human birth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed a few times so far. Once in Canada and once in Nepal, and once in Ohio. They all were great experiences. I got to meet some wonderful people who were very hospitable. I hope to be able to return the favor to other travellers someday.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I used to work in hospice, I had the profound privilege to sit with several people as they took their last breaths. This was a profound experience each time.

I also lived for 9 months at a Buddhist monastery in Nova Scotia while I was doing hospice work and lived with a senior nun who lived there.
