Hello there,

My name is Jan, 27 years old and I am a from Germany. I just finished my masters at university back home and decided to travel the world, especially Southeast Asia now. I started in September and have already been to amazing places around this beautiful world. I actually stayed in guesthouses and dorms the last couple of month and never thought of couch surfing before. Although I love to hang out with locals to experience the real culture and vibe of the town, so couch surfing is probably the best opportunity for that! Thanks to a friend I discovered this opportunity of meeting local people and give it a go now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got lost in the mountains of Vietnam with my motorcycle and stayed in a local town with no electricity. I spent 3 days with a family, worked on their field and played with the kids all day. That just happened because I drove the wrong way ;)
