Overview
About Me
I'm Jan, a PhD student at the University of Göttingen, doing a doctorate in history on gender constructions in the German Metal and Gothic scene. So I'm pretty much interested in cultural theory and humanities in general. I work at a bar to make a living, so my sleep pattern differs a little bit from a regular one, though this shouldn't be much of a problem.
Music, Movies, and Books
I used to be a metalhead for round about 10 years until I opened myself for other genres and lifestyles. Currently I'm preferring German concious-rap music, though I like indie, rock, metal and electronic music, too.
By now I'm more interested in tv shows than in action movies, but having a more or less small collection of a hundred dvds or so.
When it comes to reading, I mostly do read scientific books.
