About Me

Hello!
My name is Jan, and aside from the stuff you see in the profile that I do/am , I will add that I'm a cool guy. Being that I had to explicitly write that, I'm sure you believe me.
If you're staying with me, I will gladly show you around the city, take you to a hangout with me or whatever, but I can also leave you alone. Usually I'm gregarious, and I love having interactions with people I meet, you know, get to know you, but if you just need a last minute place to crash, that's okay as well.

I haven't used this in a few years so my profile is a bit dusty, I know.

I eat vegan, so that's what I'm cooking at my place - you'd love it, trust me.

I'm a bit politically active, but I don't believe I'm "that guy" who talks about politics. I only do if you bring it up, so that's an option as well 😄.

I guess I don't have to say that here, cause those people don't really use couchsurfing - but still I will just to be clear - If you're a deeply rooted homophobe or a generalized fascist - we probably won't have a good time - unless you are open to being convinced in the opposite, then it can be great fun yes. 🙃

As a guest - I'm adaptable. As i said, I love the couchsurfing cultural exchange experience, but I can also be lowkey. I don't have all the reviews from all my hosts because I travelled with friends, and they didn't always review us all :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing after one lesson about it in my german class where we listened to this audio tape talking about couchsurfing. After listening to it for a zillionth time, I almost knew it by heart, so I decided to check it out. It turned out to be a cool way to meet new people, help good people, make it easier for someone else to see a part of the world I live in, and see the world!

Interests

In order to understand the fundaments, one must have a broad knowledge stemming from a wide range of interests.
I would really like to know where in our bodies (or somewhere else) are we actually, and how to preserve us for eternity. I almost have no idea where to start, so being interested in a lot of stuff helps the quest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listened to the new lingua ignota recently, very good. Aside from that, I listen to a lot of things at various moments, currently, I'm not listening to anything.
My favorite movie is Grand Budapest Hotel, and of one of the better movies I watched recently was Cruella.
Reading Confederacy of dunces at the moment - funniest shit I ever read!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh I don't know, nothing I guess.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't actually offer anything spectacular. Maybe I can, but I don't see it like that. See for yourself!
I like to cook, I'm vegan, and I do cheap and simple food, which might give you some future ideas.
We can talk about a lot of very particular stuff if you're interested in stuff I'm interested in.

I can offer you a different perspective on things around us, as most people can, but we're all unique, so this experience is too;)

Countries I’ve Visited
