Hey, my name is Jan. I’m a 19 year old from Germany, who is currently studying and playing soccer at a college in northern Maine. I love to see new places around the world and getting to know new people. That is also why I left Germany for the US. I’m an open-minded person who wants to have a lot of fun and make unforgettable memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly, I am fascinated about the principle of Couchsurfing. I think this is an amazing community that is open-minded, friendly and wants to help each other out. I would like to be part of this community too. Getting to know new people, new cultures and talking with locals is a beautiful thing to do. I do not have a lot of experience with Couchsurfing in particular yet. After recommendation of a friend of mine I really wanted to start. To begin this adventure, I want to see the beautiful west coast of America. It has always been a dream to visit places like the Golden Gate Bridge, The Valley, national parks, LA, Santa Monica, etc.
