Hi! I am Jan but my friends call me Johnny, I study, work and live in Brno, Czech Republic. My passion is dancing "Lindy Hop" (swing dance) and friends say that I bake really good cakes :D I study automation and measurement at faculty of electrical engineering and communication. I am active in non-profit organizations and also I'm working like a patent specialist.

PHILOSOPHY
I had a really bad accident some time ago when I almost lost my leg but after that I have become very happy, optimistic and I do believe in destiny, so I want to experience as much as possible. I know many people who are too comfortable in their day-to-day life and are too lazy and afraid to change anything. I don't want to be that person, I don't want to say no to a challenge or an adventure, I want to jump into every chance I have with both feet.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In Lindy Hop you don't need to know language nor the name of the partner with whom you danced. Only one thing is important, not to be afraid to try it. I think that Couchsurfing is a great chance to meet new people, experience new culture and visit new places.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Swing, jazz, blues and rock and roll. My favourite singers are Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and from bands it is Greenday, The Offspring. But also it depends on my mood, I do not discriminate any kind of music at any time :)
