About Me

I am a 29-year-old guy who was born to live in a big city. I spent all my childhood in small villages, but I've moved to Prague a while ago and found out that for me, this is a place to be. Time will tell if I will move to a bigger city like Amsterdam, London or Barcelona.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people from all over the world. I am interested in their personality, culture and mostly - their stories. Each person is unique and Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for getting to know them (well, you, guys! :-)).

Interests

I love my job - so this is one of my biggest hobbies. I work as a UX Designer for a sports company based in Prague. With our main app FlashScore, we connect millions of fans with sports results.

In my free time, I am a big fan of books, tv shows and movies in general. I grew up with books like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and I love all kinds of fantasy worlds. "Fantasy world" is the world where I really want to be, but reality isn't so bad either. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I've already told you in the previous section. :-) But to sum it up, I can create a list of the most important:

...Books:
- Harry Potter - I love the entire series, but Prisoner of Azkaban is probably my favorite. And I love Quidditch.
- Lord of the Rings, Hobbit - an alfa and omega of all fantasy books :-)
- Quidditch Through the Ages - yeah, I've told you before that I love this brilliant fantasy sport! :-)
- Design of everyday things - one book from my personal UX / design life.
...and many many more, but I think that these books are my personal favorites.

...Movies/TV Shows:
- Game of Thrones - of course :-) I haven't had time for reading all of the books yet, but I am trying to catch with these show.
- and a "short list" of all other popular shows like Westworld, The Walking Dead, Flash, ... and some of "guilty pleasures" as is Suits or iZombie :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am really an "online guy" so I choose to explore online community projects. Of course, I know that for example saving two kittens from drowning would sound nobler (and I have done so once, actually!), but... you know, I believe this sort of 'greatness' should be normal, kind of automatic for us. After all, it's what makes us human. :-) So I'd rather choose something that I find more specific.

Hogwarts.cz
One of the best online Harry Potter schools in the world. Really. We have all that every Potterhead dreams about - magic wands, Houses, Diagon Alley, Duelling club, magical pets and the Quidditch of course! We have hundreds of people and with tens of them, we meet in "real life" on a regular basis. With my friends, we created a place which has now lasted for more than 10 years and in the past we've cooperated with some of the similar communities from England and Slovenia. We created a second home for many people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to meet people who want to share their experiences with Couchsurfing, other countries, etc. and I can share... (continue to the last section)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whatever, what you want to know about Prague or generally life in the Czech Republic. Did you know that Honza is another name for Jan? Or Pepa and Josef are practically same names? And it's only a tip of an iceberg :-)

Also, I can share anything about the design or I can explain "what the hell UX is" (I can try, at least :-). I can tell you why you should try the Toastmasters or we can talk about some deep stuff as coffee and books are. Or we can just discuss the immortality of the crab. I am chatty person, and if you excuse my still-improving English, there shouldn't be a problem with topics.

Countries I’ve Visited
