ABOUT ME

I get around, and I love seeing new places, even though (or especially because) I have not found the place I want to spend my life yet. I'd like to try (mostly) everything at least once. If I haven't tried it, how will I know whether or not I like it? I'm from Hannover, Germany, and currently finishing my B.A. in Bayreuth. For my master's, I will be in Toulouse, France.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a dorm right now, so actively participating isn't really on the table if you care for not sleeping on the floor. But that will change as soon as I have a different place , I promise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none so far - up to now, I've crashed in hostels, found people to stay with on location, or stayed with friends or friends of friends.

Interests

reading, seeing new places, and, unfortunately, studying too much. Ultimate Frisbee, diving, museums, conversations with interesting people.

Hitchhiker's Guide, Animal Farm, Brave New World, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Predictably Irrational, Fight Club, Igby goes down, Men who stare at goats, Chasing Sarasota, Monty Python, Purity Ring, Tool, Anais Mitchell etc etc etc, I have no clear preference for anything - if it is good, I will probably like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was at Bangkok Airport, and all cab drivers were making a "go away" motion - arm outstretched, palm down and waving. At first, I was insulted, seconds later I felt like an idiot. Their "come here" motion is my "go away" motion...
