Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people opens up new horizons, brings new experiences, enriches our lives and is fun. For me the best way to experience a new place is with someone local. I am also interested in languages (not that I speak many) :-), traditions, different cultures, etc.

Interests

Travelling, photography, technology, trekking, traveling & discovering new places and meeting new people & cultures, sports (cycling, swimming, jogging, skiing, scuba-diving, freediving), geocaching, music & movies, F1 & motoGP fan, car driving. I also love food and will try (almost) anything. It's always nice to discover local food.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many movies I like but the all-time favourites definetely are: The Shawshank Redemption, Apollo 13, Top Gun, Matrix, LOTR.
I like most sorts of music, depends on mood: Pop, Rock, Classic .. depends on current mood, I guess. Currently Anna Puu, Sanni, Sofia Jannok, Chisu, Johanna Kurkela.. etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't select just one, there are plenty! I'll list 3, ok? :-)

2004 - Yachting and scuba-diving around Elba and Corse. Amazing.
2011 - Trip around the whole Iceland. Best holidays ever.
2015 - North Wreck Freediving Safari, Egypt. Unbelievable!
