About Me

ABOUT Me
Well some say I have a dry sense of humour. Or some may see I have a dry sense of talking and being anyway, like acting somewhat laid-back about everything. Well I somewhat agree with them, but also a lot of things make me really enthusiastic! Like music which is, I suppose my biggest passion, as I play mainly guitar and piano, and learning vocals.
Furthermore I love to travel, philosophize about ... well lots of things. Furthermore I'd say i'm rather a very nostalgic person and I love to be in the nature. Just gorgeous landscapes and forests is where I feel in my element. Believe it or not, there are some beautiful landscapes (made by Humans!!!) in the Netherlands (everything is made by humans here). My favourite landscape I can think of are the Belgian Ardennes. my family has a little house there. I fell in love with this whole region with its beautiful places and forests and fields and meadows.
Anyway, according to myself I can be an open(-minded) person, like the most of the CS-people I suppose and I like to meet just people everywhere.

I was born in 1993 in Utrecht, and moved to Gouda (near Utrecht, Netherlands), where I went to Grammar school. Now I give academic ambitions in plant sciences a chance, whilst living in an eco-village. I don't have too much space to host in my caravan, but you can allways try.

I am a dreamer, and I cannot give up my dreams. My youth dreams, I can not give them up:) I went cycling with a guitar through Belgium and France, and I played on the street. Beautiful. But the travelling on my own was at last weird for me, lonesome it turned out to be. It seems I need some human contact:):) do you?

Whenever things don't happen as I wish I sometimes may try to write 'em off with some poems. They seem afterwards bit pathetic, but it is nice to do. But, as I seem ought to as a twenty years old modern world boy/men, I get just little frustrated sometimes:/ and writing is a nice way to understand yourself better. Reflect yourselve, but for heavens sake, don't do it too often! be creative, not analytical!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Categorical Imperative by Kant!! my interpretation is, that all the ethics are inherent to the freedom of the individuals. This can be realised, fairly, with the Categorical Imperative as the ideology. Freedom is what should be there, it can happen in many ways: possession, the abscence of coercion, live somewhere you feel home, be in nature, etc. These are all inherent to freedom I would say.
and I believe nature has its inherent values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well now by hosting i aspire. And I have done some couchsurfing during my cycling travels. I would love to show you around this beautiful country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good experiences, one of 'em, naively, a bit weird. In particular I have great memories of Liege where I stayed 2 days. Then I had my bit of weird stay near Paris and finally in Madrid did I some couchsurfing. I tried to do it more often but planning seems very hard. (for all who find out this latter thing I hope I can help you with hosting)
Now hosted quite a few people at my parent's place and now at my own place

Interests

a bit random order: travelling, playing guitar, piano, drums, base guitar, write a song, making music with my friends in the sun with a beer:), play harmonica in some beautiful landscape, travelling, cycling, sailing, play football (only language the entire world speaks maybe?) hitchhiking, go to music festivals, build my own guitar, philosophy, listening to 60's 70's 80's music, discovering bands, discover places, people, etcetera... Philosophy? maybe I don't even like it but I have a strong urge to get to know the answers to philosophical problems.. a hopelessly never ending occupation.
