Hey, I'm Jana, 24 years old and passionate about traveling. I'm currently studying at Macquarie University in Sydney during an exchange semester.
I won't write what, because most people react funny, but you can ask me… ;)
I like swimming, just got my scuba diving license last weekend, and lots of other sports - as long as they don't involve balls. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's a simple and exciting way to get to know people you wouldn't meet otherwise. I love to get in touch with locals and couch surfing seams to be the perfect platform for that.
I also like spending my spare time organizing weekend or day trips with friends, planning bigger holidays or sometimes just dreaming of them. So I'll guess couch surfing will do its part. :)
Apart from traveling and sports, I also love cooking, especially Indian food. Having a nice dinner with friends is one of my favorite activities. And if we even prepare a dessert, I'm absolutely happy. :)
At the weekends, I usually go to see some new part of Australia. I've visited the Blue Mountains (amazing!), some wildlife and national parks and lots of beautiful beaches already. Back at home, I also often went on weekend trips to visit friends or family in different cities.
Photography is one of my new hobbies. I'm still trying to figure out the best manual settings of my camera, which usually results in heaps of pictures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I did an internship in Ivory Coast, where I was working with local cocoa cooperatives to make their products traceable. It was definitely one of the best times of my life. :)
