About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the world step by step!

On my recent travels I figured out that it's mostly about the people you meet. But I still like to travel by myself, staying flexible and most of all being more open for everything and everyone that crosses my path.
I love cooking, good company and music and also drawing. Furthermore I'm very interested in new cultures, languages, countries and it's inhabitants!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a super clever idea and quite simple! It's great to make new friends everywhere on earth and to share some time and experiences. There is an exchange that occurs automatically and that's what I'm searching for at the moment and in addition it is of course a great opportunity to save a bit of money whilst traveling.

Interests

I'm a volleyball player- rather out of practice but I still like it especially just for fun! I like to have fun with friends and mates and enjoy time together... Chatting, cooking (particularly foreign dishes) and having a few beers - that's what I use to call "good times". Otherwise I go traveling that's at least as good as the good times :) And there are many other things like trekking, drawing, reading...

Music, Movies, and Books

“Die Nachtigall” (Kristin Hannah) is a fabulous book about France and especially women in World War II- highly recommended!

The cat empire delivers always good vibes and music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would consider myself as a very lucky person as I always met beautiful people all over the world. Had a literally "moving" time in Nepal when the big earthquake hit the country. That time made me be thankful for everything I've got and it also taught me to stay positive no matter what happens!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher in the making but besides teaching, I trust in experienced learning which happens when you try everything :)
I also love to learn many languages or even the basics in different languages.
Sharing is caring!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share quite a number of my own travel stories and experiences. Also love to go for a walk, visit events...
Interested in education or discussions about it. The rest will come up automatically.
