Hi to everyone!

My name is Jana, I am a half Italian and half Polish girl born and raised up in the north of Italy, and also have the German citizenship, how you wonder? That's a long story...

My Bachelor Degree in "Philosophy, International Studies and Economics", at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Unfortunately, as I am soon graduating, I recently moved out, so I won't be able to host you in Venice anymore:(
I will update my profile once I move into my next apartment, who knows what place that will be... I'll keep you on track.

I chose a multidisciplinary study because at that time I couldn't really pick one subject to specialise in (lol). I decided to follow a path that could expand my knowledge, rather than narrow it. I think this choice pretty much reflects my personality: curious and restless, I guess.
Anyways, I am pretty satisfied with my choice as I noticed how my studies allow me to shape the human I am today, that is: the things I care about and my values.

To this day, I've been gravitating around the neuro-cognitive sciences more than anything else, which is why I would like to delve into this immense, complex and fascinating field.

I can say, all things considered, humans and societies are what passionate me the most intellectually. Why do we end up constructing unique lives? Why do we end up constructing the same lives? Why do we behave the way we do? There is no more breathtaking contemplation.

And like most of couchsurfers out there, I love cultural exchanges and experiencing cultural shocks, either by visiting another country, interating with people or listening to people's stories.

Concerning non-intellectual interests:
I am into climbing, nature, street photography, making music, reading. Still discovering new things, the list can only get longer, not the other way around.
