I'm Jana, 23 years old and currently studying in the south of Germany (Reutlingen).
In July I'm heading to Melbourne for another semester abroad.

I love to meet friends and get to know interesting persons. I rarely spend my evenings alone - I rather prefer socializing or cooking or just talking about life with my flatmates and others. Now I'm interested to get to know you!

I like to play Volleyball or Tennis in summer. Sometimes I do yoga or I juggle.

I'm a travel addict. I love to get to know different cultures, being together with locals and see new places. I don't really care about luxury - but I want to experience the most and have adventures.

I like to go to Indie and sometimes electronic music or psytrance parties. For chilling at home I listen to Tame Impala, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Kooks, Mighty Oaks, Soja, etc. But the best is still to hear friends and other people playing in a jam session :) ...although I can't play any instrument. But I would love to learn - maybe soon?

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have heard a lot of good stories recently of Couchsurfer-experiences, when I travelled solo in February for the first time. Now, I'm feeling ready to try Couchsurfing.

As I love to meet other people and to travel, Couchsurfing is the perfect place which combines it all.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm into music, especially all kinds of Indie stuff.
I love to read all kind of books, when I'm on vacation. I read what I get :)
But I really don't like to watch TV or any series - except very rarely a funny or action movie.
The worst are horror movies. So, I'm very bad in talking about movie quotes or actors etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Living with Thai nuns for some days in Central Thailand. It was really inspiring, relaxing and eye-opening.
Going to festivals and working at one - happiness!
Travelling in Ecuador and being surprised by the hospitality and kindness of the people.
