I grew up in the 70s and 80s in the GDR, which was a socialistic dictatur at this time. When I was 8 I moved to Berlin and lived close to the wall. I just could not understand how we were captured behind the wall and could not travel.
When the wall finally fell in 1989 I was 17. This was the greatest day of my life, it changed everything for me; forever. Until this day I felt like cought in a rabbit box and only dreamed about visiting all the continents, from 1990 onwards started to turn these dreams into reality. I LOOOOVE TRAVELLING. Kenya, Greece, Portugal, the USA, Thailand, Brasil, India, Morroco... Every time I set my foot on a new country I feel like kneeing down and kissing the ground...
Now I live in the Southwest of Portugal already half of my life. I choosed the Sun and the Ocean for me and I am undiscribibly happy about this.............. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I saw "Out of Africa" for the first time in a cinema in East Berlin 1986 I fell deeply in love with this amazing country. Also the love story touched my heart.
It´s still one of my favorite movies. I saw it dozens of times and the wish to go to Kenya grew so strong in me, so strong that God heard it, teared the Berlin wall down and opened my way to the black continent.
My first journey into the wide open world was to Kenya in 1990 and I travelled the whole country.
My life switched from black and white into brightly coloured. :)
