Hi, I studied Nursing in college. Worked in a hospital for two years, and had to leave. Then worked in a break factory, where I got problems with my right elbow. So I had to leave too because my health prevented me from working there any longer. Right now, I am content with my administration work. Got married in October 2023, and am currently living in a small flat with my husband.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Decided to travel before I have to go to work, and to see my friends that I have thanks to my brother-in-law. And of course to meet new people and cultures.

Interests

Most of all I love read books in Czech or in English, love to go to nature, pick up mushrooms or just wander through the woods. If I have some free time I paint.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music it is kind of hard, but I try it is everything from classical music, through instrumental soundtracks, Enay, ERA to something harder like Linkin Park and Rammstein.

Favorite movies there is so many, but those which make me think about stuff are Killing Fields, Wild, Still Alice, Rendition. But I also love fairytales, and TV Shows which most of them is American, some Canadian and British.

Favorite books, please there is so many, but as nurse I totally love series by Robin Cook, his medical thrillers are amazing. As kid I read lot of The Famous Five and The Chronicles of Narnia, which I read even now from time to time. And I can't forget Discworld by Terry Pratchett and Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling which I read in English too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to my brother I visited the biggest cave complex in Czech Republic The Amateur cave in the Moravian Karst. It was an incredible experience to be in such amazing caves, where can get only fifty people per year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some good wine, anything that we can cook. And just ourselves.
