ABOUT ME

Such a difficult task to describe myself in only a few words, but let's try...
My name is Janaina and I am very curious, lovely, passionate and excited Brazilian woman. I am completely into experiencing different cultures and exploring different places (especially within nature). Recently I was experiencing a job that didn't allow me to have as much freedom as I really wanted in order to get the chance to explore myself and do the things I love the most. I have graduated as an engineer, without thinking much about what that would be and only following the path that society somehow preached as “the right one”: graduate in a good university, find yourself a job in a big private company, earn money and be happy (?????). Hmmm…not for me at all! But of course we have to go through some stuff (a lot of it) to get to know ourselves and evolve as a human being, so I am completely grateful to everything that life gave me so far! As a great example I can mention the opportunity to live abroad for a year, in Switzerland, where I met so many different and interesting people/places and got the chance to be completely on my own in the world and in touch with myself. I must say I am very passionate about life! And now, here I am, looking forward to explore a totally different and exciting path.

Some curiosities about me:

-I am completely passionate about YOGA <3
I’ve starting practicing it 4 years ago and it brought me a different look and perception of myself and my sensitiveness. I guess it was the door I first opened towards my spirituality. I recently graduated as yoga instructor, so I am looking forward to experience it in many different places and cultures;
- I love SURFING! I fell in love with surfing since I have started to learn it in the beginning of 2017 and I feel that life is leading me to do an immersion on it. I feel a great connection with the ocean. My mother even gave me the name of Janaina, which is one of the names given to Iemanjá, a figure known as the spirt and mother of the ocean by some typically Brazilian religions;
-I'm an ACROYOGA instructor and believe in acroyoga as a powerfull tool to change the world and grow community awareness;
-I also practice AERIAL SILKS and I'm deeply into it;
-I'm a THAI YOGA MASSAGE THERAPIST and completely in love with this healing art!
