About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing and open minded person. Im always interested in getting to know new people and their cultures. I started traveling when I was 17 and stayed in America for on year within a high school exchange program. I moved to the netherlands to study tourism and event management and studied abroad in Bali and Thailand. When I came back I did an internship in the tourism industry in Argentina from where I travelled around South America. I finished my last year of uni in Berlin from where I was seeking for a new adventure. That is why I decided (with my good friend Giulia) to move to Australia for some months (or longer ?). We are seeking for a new adventure and want to broad our horizons one more time in a different country. Living in Berlin we were stuck in our comfort zone, living a routinely life that we want to give a break. We want to discover Australia and especially learn the Ozzy way of living. We are very interested in learning about different cultures and make experiences we have not done before. We are open minded, easy going and fun people who hopefully make some new friends while couchsurfing in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very interested in getting to know the Australian way of living and their culture by meeting locals. When I go traveling, I want to adapt to the local lifestyle as much as possible and rather stay in one city for some time to build up a life like a local. When staying in hostels you mostly meet other traveller from all over the world, but not from the country you are traveling. This is why Couchsurfing facilitates the way of meeting locals and getting involved in their lifestyle. In that way I can men new friends and adapting to their way of living.
