Hi there, my name is Jana. I'm a 25 year old girl from a small town in Bavaria, Germany.
Some years ago, when i finished school, i went on my first big travel (also first time used Couchsurfing) and since that i'm kind of addicted to it ;)
Try to be on the road as much as i can and I`m really looking forward to all the new places and the lovely people i still have the chance to get to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because i think its a great option to connect and exchange with people. You get to know different people from different places, you have a great time together, learn from each other, help each other and enjoy life.
Its nice to have some local around you if you arrive to a new place, to learn more about the places they live in, about their countrys, cultures and lifestyles
Sharing is caring, so its great to share things with new people you maybe wouldnt have met otherwise and make new friends around the world ;)
To be able to travel around in a authentic way, also a more alternative way (which is also linked to other practises like hitchhiking or dumpster diving)

Interests

I like to be outside in the nature, see all the fascinating landscapes this world offers us, go hiking or cycling around. I really would like to make a big bycicle trip once in my life (the only one i made so far was a 2 week trip trough France, which was very nice)
3 years ago i learned the technique of macrame, making jewellry, since then i'm really obsessed with it, always sitting outside and working on it or when travelling always taking some stuff to make it with me and always collecting new stuff (like shells), so my backpack is always full and heavy because of all the stuff :)
And then there's also the juggling things i always want to take with me, at least some juggling balls, i'm still not the best in juggling, but always interested to learn more!
I also enjoy swimming a lot, this year i also went scuba diving first time in my life, which was great, so i'm sure i want to go again!
I love to hitchhike around, sometimes just small trips, sometimes big travels. Most of the time its just working great and its so nice to see how people help each other and you get to know them and you just get in crazy, funny situations all the time and have a lot of storys to tell :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1/2 year travelling and hitchhiking trough Southamerica with 2 great friend, putting or tent and sleep on the most beautiful and sometimes most craziest places we found, enjoying the chance to see and get to know all this amazing landscapes, people and feeling totally free :)

Hitchhiking from Germany via France to Spain and then further on hitchhiking a sailing boat to cross the Atlantic with to Canaries, Cape Verde and the Caribbean where we enjoyed the islands, the beaches, the waterfalls and mountains, sleeping in a camp in the forest and getting to know a bunch of great people and sharing time with them before crossing back to Europe.
