Overview
About Me
I study in Berlin (but currently on a semester abroad in Taiwan) and love to hang out with friends, have picnics in the park, to stroll around flea markets, enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, have a (for me vegetarian) barbecue, to paint or do other creative things, to go out and of course to travel a lot. I like the sea, long breakfasts, spring, Sebastião Salgado, dogs, camping, skiing and would consider me as an open-minded and curious person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had amazing couchsurfing experiences in Dubai, Portugal and Italy with friends so far and was impressed by the warm welcome with open arms and how fast you make new friends every time.
As I think that places and people who live in these places always interact and it is essential to meet people to really understand and not just "visit" a place, I love meeting people living in the places I travel to. Although this often happens automatically without the help of couchsurfing, couchsurfing is a great way to get in touch with interesting and lovely people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Out there is so much, here is just an incomplete list to give you a rough idea:
Books: Extremely loud and incredibly close (Jonathan Safran Foer), Momo (Michael Ende), books from Hermann Hesse, Stefan Zweig, Irvin Yalom, ...
Movies: Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Old Boy, ...
Music: I like listening to a great variety from classical to electronic music, Rhye, Ludovico Einaudi, Rodriguez, Alt-J, James Blake, The Kooks, Nicholas Jaar, Devendra Banhart, Grizzly Bear, ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeling and sailing at the Great Barrier Reef which was incredibly beautiful. There is a huge diversity of life you come across in the clear water and the choral reef and fish were amazingly colourful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love learning and trying new things and I love to share or teach new things to others. So I hope to share one or the other new idea, skill, book or music recommendation or a cooked meal with you!
