CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel the world or many different parts of it. I love meeting new people from foreign countries with a different culture and language.

ABOUT ME

My name is Jana and I'm 21 years old. I finished high school in June, 2013, travelled for 6 months through SE Asia and Australia and now I am studying tourism management in Salzburg and Victoria, BC.
I have two younger brothers and I love spending time or playing with them. It is definitely my daily workout when I'm with them ;-)
I would describe myself as a very open-minded, friendly and reliable person. I have a good sense of humor and I would say that spending time with me is always good fun ;-)
I love meeting new people and making friends during my trips. All the locals I've met so far are extremely friendly and helpful. I love to manage things on my own and just see what the next days are offering. I love doing sports in general and dancing is definitely on of my favorite hobbies. I love adventures and trying out different things I've never done before like hitch-hiking in Asia and unbelievable....it worked quite well =D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tried out couch surfing first when I was travelling and it's awesome by the way. I really want to host people when I'm back home in Austria. Maybe just one or two travelers, because I'm still living in my parents' house but we have enough space and I'm sure my mom is open-minded enough to accept nice travelers in our house ;-)
And of course later on when I'm studying and I have my own apartment (wherever I will be ;-)) I will host people permanently!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was just great. We stayed in Manly at Chris' place and he is a very very nice guy and also the best guide in Manly. He took us to so many beautiful places there and took us out one night. He cooked even dinner for us. I'm looking forward to making more cool experiences with couch surfing.

兴趣

My favorite sports back home in Austria are dancing, playing tennis, riding the bike and playing beach volleyball.
I love spending time with my family and friends. Furthermore like going out in clubs and bars and having some drinks.
I also enjoy listening to some music or reading a book (I just finished my 6th book during my trip) So there isn't a second or an hour in my leisure I don't know what I should do.;-)
I worked the last three months before my trip in some nightclubs and bars to earn some money for Australia, which I really enjoyed and it was definitely worth it.
I did the open water course in Koh Tao and I really felt in love with diving itself and the underwater world. In Canggu, Bali I started surfing and I loved it!!!!! I was in the water every day and I just stopped when I wasn't able to catch any waves anymore because my arms hurt too much. I'm soooo looking forward to surfing in Aussie =D
