I study Dutch and English linguistics.
I'm an avid fan of films and literature (and hope to one day to work in those branches, as a writer myself).
I've travelled a fair bit around Europe and dipped my toe in Africa (Tunisia) and America (USA).

Interests

I'm very interested in films and tv series, as my dream job is in that sector. I also write for the student newspaper and wouldn't mind a job as a journalist either.
I've played a lot of sports when I was young (football for 12 years, judo for 4), and am still interested in any kinds of sports.
As an aspiring writer, I'm interested in what people think about the world, how they tick, what made them who they are.

Hitchhiking from Belgium to Norway, with a girl I met while hiking in Scotland two weeks earlier (who later became my current girlfriend).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm convinced everyone can learn from other people, so I can tell people about my vision of the world, my experiences, and my humble opinion of life.
I unfortunately don't play an instrument (although I've been meaning to learn how to play the guitar for a few years now).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a clean guest, that respects the wishes of the host and easily conforms to the house rules.
I can be a person to talk to if that's what the host is interested in, but can also perfectly give privacy when it is needed.
