About Me

We are a crazy happy family of 3. We are sometimes at home now; so: if you have NO PLACE AT ALL to go, then wright us!!!. (Our bus connection is also terrible in the weekends, on Sunday only 2 busses, and now we can not pick up people by car).
About us? We are a couple + our daughter Ingeborg (23) and our son sebastian (26), we live in the circle of Bergen, NOT IN BERGEN! (Askøy iland, 30 minutes from the real centum of Bergen, by car ///or by boat+bus or only bus; about 55 minutes! -the bus No:499 is coming here sometimes only in every 2 hours, on Sunday only twice a day, so this is not good for everyone)
We live on the nicest island and have a quite ok weather out here (usually it is not frosty at all in winter and usually never over 25 Celsius in summer and half of the rain of Bergen...
We are close to the sea, we love to fish, eat, drink or dive...
The area is beautiful, you can make nice tours, trips here.
If you are a person/couple who wants to visit Bergen or just
relax/hang out on a good place, look around on that page and decide...
But you have to know, we are a Scarry-stupid couple, so if you just want a place to stay, that's fine too! 😆😈😇 We love to eat, drink and have fun (we don’t eat meat.)

SOME GOOD ADVICE FOR BERGEN;💡💡
You arrived to the Airport? Get to the city by Tramp! Buy ticket by card at Automat or online! Quick and fast! Airport bus is much much more expensive!
You can buy "Bergen-Card", if you want to see Museums +move free around Bergen -Otions for 24/36 hours:

Hitchhiking in Norway?
I heard a lot of more TERRIBLE experiences then GOOD ones...
First thing: people in Norway do not brake rules!: So: they do not take hitchhikers/do not stopp-on-the road, because it is not aloud + they do not reallly care if you have a problem... sad but true...

To survive this expensive and not-EU-country ;
(Here is a good side what I found, also about Hitchhiking for example;
https://www.heartmybackpack.com/norway/mistakes-norway-holidays/ )

FOOD, RESTAURANT;🍕🍲🍱🍛🍜 Freeee hot and good food in daytime? Possible!!! Robin Hood restaurant in the city! https://www.robinhoodhuset.no/ -Really for free if you are in need! ? lovely people, good, I think it is much more tasty then in Norwegian restaurants!!!!
FoodShops: To buy food and things: use REMA 1000 (Æ), best quality, but cheepest anyway (if you make the Rema1000 +Æ"-aplikation on your visa-card, then you get more offer around 10-15%)
(REMA1000 usually has microwave at the end of the shops, so you can heat up your food/sausages or what ever you did buy.) Look for REMA-products, they are always "the winners" in competitions.!!!
---or COOP shops! Look for the COOP-made foods and things, they are also cheaper and good quality...
If you prefer to make meal easy at home, or you prefer Asian food, or you are vegetarian, so you want the best price for green things and spices 🍠🍆🌰🍢🍥🍌🍡🍄🌿; choose the "Utlands Butikk" (Arabian/Turkish or Vietnamese, Chinese) shops, -you can find them in the city on many places ( next to the bus station are 5 of them, "Global-food is the biggest, they have everything, but i think, it is the expensivest one as well. I prefer the little shops, but try to pay cash.💱..)
The shops are differently open as in the EU, but some good shops are in the Bergen centre open at sunday as well; like Bunnpris, Joker, and some Asian shops, they can have some good offers too!

RESTAURANTS
If you want to eat something♨ hot food, go to McDonalds (if I was hungry in the city, i did buy 5 cheesburgers there, for takeaway! !!, cause' you must pay extra fee if you say, you sit and eat there...
(The Menü-s in McDonalds are more expensive, as you would buy it one by one, but i do buy one children's menu, there I get some drink, pommesfries 🍟and something as sandwich🍔/nuggets🍤/fishburger; what you choose + some more cheese burgers🍔🍔🍔.
Of course, then i always sit anyway. .. cola, fanta,🍶🍼 etc, you can free recharge, buy just one,)
At Narvesen, 7/11 they have some hot food offers as well sometimes, like 10👑/hotdog♨🐕, or 10👑/Bollers 🍩 SOMETIMES!

THE RESTAURANTS 🍴 are quite expensive -I think, so if you want to try some REAL Norwegian food; try to pray for your "Hosts", to use the kitchen and cook there Salmon/Ørret 🐟🐟🐟, whale-beef🐳🐋, others🐡🐙🐠🐍🐌🐲...there. -I am a cook, so: you can ask me for free as well :)

DRINKS, ALKOHOL 🍻🍼🍸🍶🍹🍺🍷☕
Alkohol is fckng expensive here, even in shops! So; bring as much as you can, if you are fun of drinking, because here the cheapest Vodka costs 50 Euro, a shot or beer in a restaurant or night club about 10 Euro, and this is not a joke!
You can buy beer in shops from 8 a.m, til 8 p.m, on weekdays, on Saturday from 9-til 6 p.m. All the other alkohols (like wine, spirit etc.) -are in alkohol-shops, called "Vinmonopolet", these are only at bigger centers, opened on weekdays from 10-18 o'clock ( in smaller places only til 15, 16,17 o'clock), and on Saturdays 10-15.
On Sundays almost everything closed exept some gasstations and some little shops in the city centrum.

INTERNET;
Next to the big 🚌 bus station and 🚂 Railway-station is the big Library 📚, and in the basement area in the library, is internet room, internet for free. You also get Net connections for free in or near by any NARVESEN-shops, main bus station, shopping centers, and McDonalds.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A room or two rooms, maybe 3.
Bed/beds, Blanket, Pillow, Towel, Fun, Food.

WE DO NOT SHARE; Beer, Vine, Spirit, Chocolate, if you did not bring any :) !!!

If the weather is good, u can use Garden also (for camping) we have some big tents as well!
