关于我

I lived abroad for over four years teaching and working with cultural and environmental projects in Seoul, South Korea, Paris, France, and Bali, Indonesia. I am passionate about art, travel, music, animals and culture. I now live in Colorado where I have my horse Rogue. She is a wild horse (mustang) I adopted from the government and is in the process of being gentled to ride. Life is an adventure and I am always excited to meet new people to share life experiences.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I used to host people on Couchsurfing over a decade ago when I lived in Charleston, SC. I no longer have access to that account as it has been such a long time. Some couchsurfing friends even ended up moving to Charleston because their experience was so positive visiting and being hosted by me!
I arrive in Paris next week and my friend that planned on hosting me had an unexpected change of plans. I did not budget accommodations because I was counting on staying with her. Now I am scrambling to find a place to stay! I hope to meet fun, interesting, and cool people while in France and to continue being active in this community upon arriving back home in Colorado.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like lots of music and have been involved in independent music booking, organizing, and touring for a long time. Many of my friends are successful musicians in a larger community of artists and friends, I usually like to listen to their music !
My favorite books tend to be nonfiction and related to anthropology, cultural theory, environmental studies, and indigenous rights.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've traveled to Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, working with a community of Dayak (Indigenous) activists to save their forests from Palm Oil expansion while rehabilitating previously captive orangutans in a new experimental (and successful) model of rewilding. Let's talk about it ! ; )
