I'm a grandmother but young at heart and a lot of fun. Most of my friends are younger than me...probably because my own age group cant keep up! My real job/career was event organising/marketing but I left the corporate world behind me and moved to Chamonix to escape from the rat race....I recently travelled to SE Asia where I did a TEFL course, so now I am en English teacher. I also teach French.

I'm in back in the UK for a short trip and need to make a visit to Manchester area to look at properties. So that's why I need accommodation. I have friends in Helsby, Cheshire whom I would like to see, so I wouldn't mind staying near them. Whatever happens, I have to be in Burnley at 2.30 pm on Friday afternoon.

I am a ski / winter sports addict. I'm currently single and I live in Chamonix-Mont Blanc in the high French Alps....home of extreme sports. I love adventure, sports, music, dance, food & wine....and of course travelling. I have a family in UK including 4 beautiful girls...my daughter and her 3 lovely daughters, not to mention 2 sisters and elderly parents. I'm taking the opportunity of fulfilling my dreams now while I have time and before my parents need looking after...at which point I will return home to UK.
