ABOUT ME
I asked my best friend what he'd say about me and he said "you are a business lady with a cupcake hobby, and an extreme interest in versatile restaurants. Period. Son. That's unnecessary. You are not funny. hah"
I'm Jane, and I love to travel. Sometimes work gets in the way, but I do my best. Couch surfing seems to be such a great concept in karma building and I'd like to take part! :)

Interests
I have a 9-6 job with the occasional business call in the evening. Any other times, I'm spending time with my dogs, watching TV or watching my boyfriend play star wars - the old republic. I also bike to work and on days I don't, I like to go to the gym. I also like to play tennis, and recently started playing golf. Eventhough I'm a noob. I also enjoy strategy board games - like smallworld or settlers of catan. I enjoy video games and is very excited for Diablo3 coming out. WOOHOOO! I like to try different things at least once, as long as it doesn't have to do with snakes.
Colourful things grab my attention, especially when it is produced by nature. I love to get to know different people with different lives. I always wonder what it's like to be inside someone else's shoes and what they are thinking about. When I travel, I like to meet the locals and see what they see. The simple beauty of a different lifestyle really makes traveling enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
triple rainbows.
When I was at honduras 2 years ago, I visited the mayan women village and it was a village of women and many children. They lived in clay huts with outdoor "showers" using plastic bags as "curtains". When I got there, the kids all ran up to me smiling. They were climbing trees and looked happy. I thought, if these people can find that happiness in life, I really have nothing to complain about. I think about that moment everytime I have a first world problem and it makes me realize how lucky I am and appreciate every little thing I have (e.g. having sidewalks to walk on).
