I'm a journalist covering health and education in the Philippines. I live in Manila, the Philippines' capital city. In my spare time, I read, write, and try to learn Spanish. I lived in Spain for 9 months from 2017-2018 and love that country almost as much as I love my own.

I've been told that the richest travel experiences come from those spent with locals of the cities or places one visits. Not only do I want to experience it myself, but I also want to be able to share a thing or two about where I come from. It would be great to travel and make new friends while at it!

I love music by Mitski, Maggie Rogers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX, HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, etc.
Among my favorite movies are Anthropoid and Arrival, and lots of historical flicks.
Every new book I finish almost always becomes an instant favorite, but two books I really love are One Hundred Years of Solitude and The God of Small Things.
