我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I love to travel. But more than that, my favorite part of travel is the culture. The entire experience of an area is better when you can immerse completely and understand the locals. You always get a better feel for a place that way. It also never hurts to hear all about fellow CSer's travels and philosophies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking in the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia was an amazing experience. Just looking around and realizing that this was once discovered by someone. Like standing at the top of a mountain and looking down at the clear blue-green lakes, listening to the massive water falls all around you and wishing you could discover something with that kind of beauty.

In Hanoi, Vietnam in the Old Quarter watching people live their lives. Motorbikes with 4 and 5 people on them surrounding you. Tuk tuks trying to pick you up. People doing tai chi in the middle of the madness. A woman selling her handiwork. Just being a fly on the wall of another culture- inspiring.
