CURRENT MISSION

It is nearly spring here in New Zealand, so I am busy with gardening and renovating.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Surinam, South America, have four sisters .Our brother passed away this year 2017. Had a happy childhood in my tropical Surinam with a lovely caring mum and dad and my whole family is kind.. Have a married daughter and married son and 4 grandchildren between them.We live nice and close from eachother.I have always liked nurturing/health related jobs,but also have a good head for small businesses. Worked in several jobs,and after being fortunate enough to be able to stay at home while our children were growing up,I retrained and worked many years for refugees,migrants and international students.
Besides nursing that was my favourite job.I am a cancer survivor so am only doing freelance work now as an advocate and volunteer in other areas in our local community when needed and able. My partner Rex is an enviromentalust very softhearted and caring.MY FAMILY IS MY BIGGEST HOBBY. Other than that my hobbies are gardening,dancing,entertaining friends with food and fun, am a good listener and wish to believe that I am a loyal friend for life who you can rely on.Obviously I gained knowledge about many cultures through my work ,and enjoy the fact to see them establishing themselves after help with settling in.We travelled a lot, visited many countries,met many people, and that is why this website,introduced by my friend Ankie seems so much fun. I hope to meet and host many lovely and good people.
