Overview
About Me
I am enthusiastic and welcoming with Couchsurfing guests and enjoy showing around, sharing experiences and getting to know their personalities, mentality, culture. I have wide range of interests. The world is endless AND connected so the best you can do is to know at least a bit about everything and attempt to "connect the dots". Isn't that what we all do?
I was originally molded as a bit of a dreamer although with age I increasingly prefer action instead of "walking the clouds". But I still daydream...
I've always valued independent thought and "thinking outside of the box" is part of me and matches my inner layout. I have built considerable part of my life with these principles. Best of all, it worked, but the side effect is I often feel like an outsider. I live an independent and free lifestyle.
I have a neverending thirst for new knowledge, and pay extra attention to details because I believe truth is more often than not hidden "in the corner of an eye".
Logic will take you from point A to point B. Imagination will take you everywhere. /A. Einstein/
" For “you” is the universe looking at itself from billions of points of view, points that come and go so that the vision is forever new.
You do not ask what is the value, or what is the use, of this feeling. Of what use is the universe? What is the practical application of a million galaxies?"'
/Alan Watts/
P. S. I'm still waiting for my first guest from Africa! If you are from there, you're almost guaranteed to get hosted!
