About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have fun with whatever I do, and try to put a smile on someone's face everyday!
ABOUT ME
I'm a canadian living in Beijing at the moment. Teaching a bit of English here and there and trying to learn Mandarin.
I graduated last year with an accidental degree in European Studies, mostly French and Russian classes, with a wee bit of Spanish and German too.
Now I'm debating whether or not to go back to school for something a little more useful, and since I'm kinda a big nerd at heart, in the fall I might start computer science!
(I also have an aversion to capitalization when typing, though the purist in me thinks things look nicer when properly capitalized. But my lazy side prevents me from correcting the rest of my profile.)
PHILOSOPHY
Life's for the living. However anyone chooses to live, if they have fun and enjoy themselves, then I approve. People say life's to short for this and that, but whatever. Life's as short or as long as you choose, depending on your point of view, but if you're not enjoying yourself, what's the point? So I like to enjoy it, whatever I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i rode a camel into the desert in morocco. it was pretty cool to be out there in the middle of nowhere. while we camped out in the sand, away from any sense of civilization, one of the locals looked up at the sky and told me, "les étoiles... c'est la télé du désert!" ("the stars are the tv of the desert"). it was beautiful.
