Hi!

Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Jani Spencer and I'm a German-born Finn with roots in both the US and Finland.

As for the introduction, I've been a security guard for 3 years and I get to meet and deal with all sorts of people because of that job. Remaining calm and even using humor in almost any kind of a situation are important in my job and that's why I consider myself being a good "people person".

I'm also very ambitious for a lot of things. Most of all, I love travelling, because I believe it is all about unique adventures and experiences that you cannot do any other way. For a social person like myself, it's also about meeting awesome people you wouldn't meet otherwise and making life-long connections. That is why I typically go on a trip outside of my country at least once year.

I believe the world is much larger than just the places that are advertised about alot in the media. Sure, alot of traveling agencies have great sevices except for one; seeing the places from a local's point of view AND making life-long connections during the process. That can help one experience something more during travels and that is why I had to start supporting this kind of a community very shortly after I first heard about it. And it's been nice watching it grow ever since. 8-)

Traveling is definitely one of my biggest interests in life (obviously since I'm registered here :-D). I also interest myself a lot in japanease comics (a.k.a manga) and even drawing in a similar kind of style. I also enjoy doing physical activities regularly such as fitness, jogging and martial arts (cannot guarentee I could become your Mr. Miyagi tho... but I can try if you want).

Dogs are also very close to my heart since my family always owned at least two of those when I was growing up. :-)

All kinds of music is fine as long as the melody is smooth. I typically go for intrumental hip-hop, jazz and periodically also J-rock.
J-rock was first brought to my ears by japanease cartoons a.k.a anime. That brings me to the type of books I like reading which is manga. The art form eventually inspired and directed me in life. :-)
