Hi there! I’m Janice—a Dutch Caribbean global citizen, virtual assistant, and lifelong explorer currently living in Utrecht. 🇳🇱

Born and raised in 🌴 Curaçao 🇨🇼, I’ve carried my island spirit with me through many cities and chapters of life. Traveling has been a big part of my journey, and with it came joy, unexpected situations, risks, and lessons that shaped who I am today. I’ve learned how to stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and understand the impact stress can have on your body when things don’t go as planned.

From a very young age, I learned what it means to lose everything and rebuild—unfortunately more times than I would have wished. Those experiences taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of sharing knowledge, supporting others, and appreciating life on a deeper level.

As a Virtual Assistant in the restaurant and tourism sectors, I’ve worked with a variety of businesses, helping them stay organized, efficient, and focused on what they do best. I’m also a foodie and food critic enthusiast who loves exploring farmers’ markets, discovering fresh local produce, and enjoying clean, wholesome meals. I used to work as a realtor, and the combination of beautiful architecture and good food feels absolutely magical to me — two passions that always make me feel at home wherever I go.

I’m passionate about life in all its colors—especially the stories held in culture, the calm of nature, and the echoes of history. They move me, teach me, and remind me how beautiful it is to stay curious. Laughter is essential to me—I laugh 🤣🎤 a lot and believe it’s one of the purest forms of healing. I’m also a Healthy Water enthusiast and love everything related to a healthy lifestyle and mindful living.

Welcome to my home! Here’s what you’ll find to make your stay comfortable:

Safe and Secure 🏢🔒: You’ll feel safe staying here on the 8th floor in a very nice upscale neighborhood.

Clean and tidy space 🧼✨ – everything is well-maintained.

Sleeping Setup 🛌 in the livingroom: Although I don’t have a guest bed yet, I’ve arranged a comfortable alternative using stacked yoga mats, a cozy single duvet, and an extra blanket for warmth (see pictures), two ergonomic pillows, and a decorative pillow for added comfort.

Special Amenities
Filtered Alkaline Water 💧: Enjoy unlimited clean, alkaline, and mineral-rich water to keep you refreshed! It’s especially beneficial for athletes, travelers needing hydration after a long flight, or anyone needing a healthful boost.

Just a Few House Requests:

A) In the Bathroom 🚽:

1. Please keep the toilet seat down.

2. The toilet brush contains soap inside—just squeeze and brush for easy cleaning.

3. Remember to look back, flush, brush, and flush again.

B) Trash 🗑️: Please help by throwing out the small kitchen trash daily.
