Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So that I get to know the locals and also the native side of a place. Through Couchsurfing you get a better insight into how the locals live and that is for me the most exciting part of traveling. In the best case there is a friendship out of it and I love that.
Couchsurfing enables me to meet knowledgeable people who show me their place and their environment as a true local, off the beaten track. That's why I love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travel highlight was splashing around in the Amazon with the pink dolphins. At the same time, a snake (poison green, 2.5 meters tall) swam right at me. This still gives me mixed feelings, but unforgettable.
