About Me
Hello, beloved friends! 🌏
In March 2025, I set off on the adventure of a lifetime: a journey to hitchhike around the globe — whether by car or boat, always heading west. My trip started in Switzerland and, if all goes to plan, will eventually end back in Switzerland after circling the globe.
Before taking off, I worked in a nursing home, a school, a youth center, and in nature conservation.
While I’m a big fan of crazy adventures and spontaneous decisions, I also try to maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay fit along the way. I aim to go to bed early, wake up early, exercise in the mornings, and keep an eye on my nutrition.
Every ride, every stop, and every host is a new chapter in this global adventure. Let’s connect!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love hosting people from all over the world. They have so much knowledge to share. I have heard so many different stories from their homeland and their journey. Thanks to Couchsurfing I even have the opportunity to help those people. Even though they only stayed for a short time, I made really good friends. Sometimes there were even tears when saying goodbye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing a hitchhiking trip to San Sebastian when I was 19 years old to visit an old friend of mine; for transportation I completely relayed on strangers, for accomodation I was invited by people from Couchsurfing and once even by a stranger: This trip changed my view of the world. Contrary to how I perceived it from the media, I learned that people are good and the world is a wonderful place.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I see Couchsurfing more as an exchange of give and take than a free hotel. Therefore, I always try to give something back to my host in return. Be it cooking or simply enjoying time together.
