Not trying too hard to be like Gary or Alice Cooper, for the mere reason of being in love with singers from the 60s, 70s, up to this very postmodern era. Janis Joplin is on top of my agenda, even though i'm still looking or trying to shape my L. C...ohen. So:

PHILOSOPHY

I think "Carpe diem" (Live the moment at the fullest) would be the most appropriate quote to describe my personal philosophy. By this I don't mean an excentric or extremistic attitude in front of the situations you have to cope with or have came across but I actually understand to learn how to enjoy and be aware of the present moment in a harmonious way.Of course I make plans, I have dreams and goals to reach, but I also try not to forget about the present time:).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Taking into account that I travel on a regular basis it's rather hard for me to actually host someone at my home. However, if I can and depending on where I find myself when someone in need of a couch, I'm willing to think of something.

My main interests revolve around studying right about now, so I am keen on books and cross-cultural communication.In my spare time I enjoy discovering new things from music,movies, books to travelling destinations, new places and so on.

This is my favourite part :). I like reading a variety of materials from novels, to specialised magazines but I am not so keen on newspapers, though. In what regards musical preferences I am definitely an evergreen fan, classic rock is on top of my list)Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley from time to time, Vaya con Dios); I also love jazz, blues(Norah Jones) and reggae(Bob Marley). If it is to talk about movies, I could say I enjoy comedies the best and once in a blues moon I also watch thrillers. :)

I'd be happy to host anyone who's interested in visting Romania and especially Bucovina which is undoubtedly a melting pot of traditions and I could also teach you guys about regional habits amd customs, cuisine or history of my region. I am also keen on walks, so it would be totally ok for me to show you the surroundings, to share impressions and so on.
