About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring, perceiving, remembering, reliving, creating

ABOUT ME

Observer, Listener, Reality Consumer

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing is how you perceive the reality. And the way you do depends on you.
Besides, consider this: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, my adventure with CS started few years ago, I travelled and was so lucky to catch few fantastic hosts, met with people on CS meeting, showed them around. Now I finally have a possibility to host, so welcome, lovely people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

May be this will not sound very sublime, but - totally awesome!
I've got very diverse experience with couchsurfing - I've done a long trip in UAS with CS fellows, thanks to ppl I met here I saw many interesting spots that I would never find myself... Plenty of memories!

Interests

Linguistics, Psychology, human consciousness, literature, graphic design, cultures... And I hope the sphere of my interests will expand :D
Sports: Running, swimming (especially in warm sea), skiing, biking. Want to try windsurfing.

Books: The Doors of perception, Breaking Open the Head, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Brave New World, Year 1984, We, Fight Club, Choke, Paragraph 22, (some) Vonnegut, Lolita, Doctor Zhivago, The Master and Margarita... The list is definitely incomplete. In general, lots of classic world literature, some poetry, as well as ancient legends, fairy-tales, sagas, russian and polish literature... I generally love reading, but NEVER call me a nerd :D
Moovies: Lolita by Stanley Kubrick, The Pianist, Brat, One flew over the Cucoo's Nest, Rain Man, Beautiful Mind, Clockwork Orange, The Day of a Freak, Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Gran Torino, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious bastards, Leon, Transpotting, Requiem for a dream, Dark City, Sin City, Fight Club, Titanic :D And many others I can't remember :)
Love good documentary moovies - if you have seen one - tell me!
Music: hmm, lots of things. Some rock oldies, somepsychodelic, electro, or even industrial things... Some ambient that is about to calm me down... Or just the thigs that I like, but they dob't belong to these categories. And I particularly love The Cure and Duran Duran:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great Canyon - If I had a talent of a writer I would describe how beautiful it was. Actually, I've done so many things I would call amazing I will need some extra space and time to describe all of them ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the languages I know, and, I'm sure many other things :D Sometimes you don't treat something like a skill, but someone else can ask you "wow, how do you do it?".

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Sweden, United States
