Overview
About Me
I'm currently teaching Prana Vashya Yoga & Workshops in my hometown, Lisbon in Portugal.
I'm staying with my parents which means I'm not able to host couch surfers at the moment.
CURRENT MISSION
To share the benefits of the beautiful Prana Vashya practice and to bring it to prisional institutions.
ABOUT ME
I have worked in the Hotel Industry ever since I've graduated from college. I did my BA Degree in Business Management and completed my Master from Les Roches Hospitality School in Hotel Management. I've lived and worked in beautiful hotels across the world but in 2014 while living in beautiful Bali my life took a turn and I found myself falling in love with the practice of yoga.
Long story short, January 2015 I moved to India to study Yoga and deepen my knowledge about it. I travelled for 2 years and eventually started teaching. It was in Mysore that I found the practice and teacher that I resonate with the most – Prana Vashya from Vinay Kumar. I have been going back to Mysore every year since then to deepen my practice and have been teaching this system in my hometown, Lisbon since the beginning of the year 2017.
WHAT ELSE?
I'm curious about people, their perspectives on life and cultures. I think that's why I'm always jumping from country to country. I've learned so much from the people I met in the many places I've worked and lived. I've changed my perspective on life so many times and believe everyone would benefit from being open to at least listen to new ideas, beliefs, traditions etc.
I don't eat meat, or eggs, cheese, etc....yes, I'm basically vegan...the only reason I can't really put that label on me is cause...there are some rare occasions that I'm gonna eat that cake, or croissant...that yes, has eggs on it.
I love animals in general....dogs in particular....anyone who doesn't like dogs comes across to me a little weird and without a soul. I believe dogs are angels on earth.
More? Well...I love being outdoors, being in Nature. I love trees, yoga festivals, the night sky and watching the stars. I love the sun, music and dancing (tho I'm a terrible dancer). I enjoy the simple things in life. Swimming in the ocean, driving the scooter on a sunny day, waking up with the sunrise, I love all kinds of tea and infusions...on a normal day I'll be drinking tea from morning till sunset. A good HUG will make my day. Always!
Anything else about me I guess you can find out once you host me and we share some time together.
PHILOSOPHY
Be curious, ask questions, experiment and experience with and OPEN HEART and MIND.
Don't get too caught up in the drama of life. Yes, we'll go through hard times, but they come and go (just like the happy times). Learn to let go and accept the impermanence of life.
Be kind to others, always. Stay firm on your path. Have a good set of moral values and stick to them.
And LOVE!...love gives meaning to every single thing we do in this life. Have faith in Love. It will keep you going through hard times.
Inspire others by leading a life you LOVE.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In March 2014 I've seen an amazing sky.
It was Nyepi day in Bali. For 24 hours all lights are off, no fires, no talking, no cooking, no cars, no getting outside of your house, nothing...it's a moment to meditate.
As you can imagine..a whole island without ANY lights...brings up a magical sky...one like I've never seen before. Millions of stars, shooting stars, satellites...maybe even an UFO or two haha
Well, it was a sky I will never forget.
During the same week hiked volcano Agung...the highest point on the island. Climbed from Pura Pasar Agung (the temple) at 2.30am for a dawn arrival. It was beautiful.
In 2015 I did my first 4-week intensive of Prana Vashya, Pranayama & Back-Bending course with Vinay Kumar....that program broke me and opened me up in ways I never thought possible. I've stick to this practice ever since and it continues to do the same. I keep learning with each practice. It's the most valuable tool in my life at the moment. Really...it's the best tool I could ever ask for to navigate this world and life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly share anything I know with you which at the moment mainly includes yoga, pranayama and maybe a little cooking. I'll share with you my life experiences and the things life have taught me so far.
I'm always happy if you can teach me a little about playing the guitar, dancing, cooking your favourite (vegan) dishes, yoga, ayurveda and meditation – these are among the things I most want to currently learn. BUT! I'm open to learn anything you think it's worth sharing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be happy to cook, to guide you in a yoga session, or yoga nidra, pranayama etc.
