Hi, I'm Janna from Germany and I'm currently living as an Aupair in New York. Right after graduating Highschool I decided to take a break before going off to college, so I became an Aupair which gave me the awesome opportunity to travel around, to meet new people and to experience a totally different culture and place and to improve my language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because it is such a cool way to meet people around the world, become friends and get better connected to the place you're staying at.
You just get a way better impression about a place by talking to people who actually live there and the exchange of cultures between each other.

My last Couchsurfing experience made me get my first - super spontaneous - tattoo even though I was never thinking about getting one, but I love it and it will always remind me about the girls I've met through CS.
