ABOUT ME

In general, I'm a pretty animated and colorful person, in every sense of those words. I am a very committed person, and tend to find joy in (almost) all situations. I don't go a day without laughing, singing, thinking critically, stretching, and eating a baked good.

PHILOSOPHY

Creativity, depth and enlightenment are what guide me. And fun.

I believe strongly that wealth exists in the people and places I surround myself with. I have learned that seeking positivity in people and situations is not being naive, but an honest way of life.

I believe in maintaining a holistic wellbeing by keeping active, being social and loving others, spending as much time outdoors as possible, and experiencing creativity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had the best time couch surfing in Kenya and in NYC.

I had many folks coming through Winnipeg to stay with me, however established moreso through word of mouth than CS!

Interests

Diversity! Music! Exploring new depths to knowledge and ideas! Dancing and general vigourous movement! Trees root staircases, winding streams and prairie horizons.

I look for poetry in as many moments as possible, even terrible ones.

I spend most of my time with family, friends and being silly, as well as dancing, playing music and trying to piece together my somewhat scattered knowledge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of Mount Kenya, watching the sun rise over the Kenyan coast.

Climbing Chilkoot pass on a foggy day with Gregory, the resident black bear who decided to join me through the steep and sharp rocks.
