I'm Janne, 25 years old after having volunteered for three month in a social skate and surf project in India, I am exploring nz now for another three monthsand surfing as much as possible. I started surfing when I worked in a surf school in Chile when I was 19, and fell in love with it. I had an awesome time there, not only learning Spanish and surfing but really connecting to the country and its people. I was the only foreigner and I guess open-minded enough to really get into the community there and to see chile from the local point of view. Generally, this is how I like to travel, not only seeing the highlights of a country but staying some time in one place and getting a deeper impression of it...

i love to explore places through the eyes of locals. I have travelled New Zealand for the past two month only through workaway and on couches, have had the best experiences and would love to continue that for my last month
