I am currently not hosting, but if I know you from a couchsurfing experience I might be able to host you in Dublin on a little airbed in my room. Glamorous I know!

Hey I'm Janneke and I'm from Holland. I've been living in Dublin for eight years. I moved to Ireland because of the music scene.

I am outgoing, fun to be around and very passionate about music and filmmaking. I play the guitar and sing. I am a graduate from a film college. I often go to gigs to listen to music or play music. I like folk, country and rock music. I also love poetry and arts. Whenever I'm visiting a town you'll find me in the museum looking at paintings or at a music venue listening to music. I also love cooking vegetarian food and eating healthy foods (I also like unhealthy food, but don't tell anyone!) I love hiking and cycling (I'm Dutch what do you expect?) and swimming in the cold Irish sea. Actually there's s lot of things I like I've come to realize. Haha. The only thing I really don't like is politics.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed with the lovely Frank Van Steenwijk in Dublin. It was such a lovely experience to be with a Dutch person for the first week in Dublin. I'm so happy that couchsurfing is there to help people discover new countries in a safe and fun way! :)

I don't really watch movies that much at the moment, but I like 'Her' and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'The Virgin Suicides'. I also love Netflix shows: 'Orange is the New Black', 'The Good Place' and 'Fargo'.

I'd like to think I make people smile on a daily basis. Apparently I'm a really smiley person.

I can teach you some guitar and some funny Dutch words. :)
