Hi! I'm Jannes, a 25-year young belgian.

I'm a cheerful, singing dude who is social, honest and outgoing. A little kid on the inside, but a wise little kid nonetheless!
Life is a bit of a puzzle and taking that step out of my comfort zone helps me sort out which piece fits where. I'm exited to bond over stories, hear about what life has taught you, see how you live and what makes life meaningful to you, ... It can be so beautiful to learn about and connect with someone new.

When I offer a place to sleep it is because I want to hear your story, because I am interested in what I can learn from you. And what I can offer you: company, advice about the neighbourhood or just a good meal? I'm happy to share whatever possible.
And as a traveller it's more or less the same! Just one good person you know you can rely on, can make your stay at a place a lot more comfortable.
And that's why I'm on Couchsurfing!

兴趣

I am very sportsmanlike! And I like every kind of sport, from football to pingpong. I also play theatre! It became a real passion. When I end up in a place I also love to explore it and it would mean a lot to me if you could point me the not-to-miss attractions your town has to offer!

- I love to read graphic novels. There's plenty of good comic series in Belgium.

When I was only 17 years old I travelled by bike all the way from Belgium to the south of France to visit my brother.

A few years ago I went on an exchange for seven months to Brasil. What an experience that was!

I love to imagine what it must have been like for the ancient European explorers when they bumped into an elephant in Africa. I think the world would be a lot better off if we knew a lot less and had a lot left to explore.
